Direct Selling Edge #5: With Special Additions

Since 2011, MLM Attorney Kevin Thompson and Sylvina Consulting have sponsored the best educational conference for new and young network marketing and party plan direct selling companies.

We are pleased to announce the dates for our 5th conference. It will be held in Las Vegas on Thursday and Friday, May 30-31, 2013.

This two-day conference is extra special for several reasons:

We have added even more direct selling professionals to our speaker roster. There are now 10 of us! Together, we will present educational sessions on 16 topics.

In addition to class lectures, we have decided to offer 4 roundtable discussions, each led by two or more of our speakers, on topics of interest to our students.  These include:

  • Illegal Compensation Plans
  • How To Be A Good Software Client
  • Advertising From Three Different Points Of View
  • Building Your Starter Kit

Each roundtable discussion will be offered twice.  When you come to our conference with an associate, together you can attend them all.

At the end of each day, from 5 pm until 7 pm, you will have an opportunity to meet with conference speakers for 20-minute appointments.  This is free MLM consulting and party plan consulting.  Bring your questions with you.

Along the way while working with them, he learned the secrets of successful direct selling companies and the challenges faced by them. In true entrepreneurial spirit, Jay’s decision in 1999 to start Sylvina Consulting as a direct selling consulting company was driven by what he saw was a need for answers, advice, and solutions.

In 2004, 2006, 2009, 2014, and 2018, Jay gave presentations on compensation plans, recognition, and field leadership development at conferences held by the US Direct Selling Association.

He traveled to South Africa in 2015, 2016, and 2017 to conduct workshops on compensation plan design and recognition programs for member companies of the South African Direct Selling Association.

In 2017, Jay spoke at the Canadian Direct Sellers Association Meeting on the importance of recognition.

More than just a compensation plan expert, Jay is exceptionally skilled at advising new and established companies on business strategies. Before offering advice or solutions, he asks important questions to understand each client’s specific concerns and goals.
